Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu opened the Likud faction meeting in the Knesset today by addressing fears of a new outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.
"There has been an increase in morbidity in the last few days, and this is clearly related to the loosening of the rules. As the distance goes, the virus is spreading," Netanyahu said.
Netanyahu addressed a video making its rounds on social networks alleging that the government' is attempting to plant listening devices in Israeli children.
"This is an opportunity to dispel an urban legend that I or someone else intends to implant devices in children," Netanyahu stated. "...Certainly no such thing is going to take place. You can relax."
