The Knesset's Constitutional Committee, headed by MK Yakov Asher (UTJ) has completed its discussion of the Norwegian Law, and intends to hold its first vote on the Law tomorrow, MK Asher stated.
The majority of the committee's discussion centered around the law's central provisions which allow for between one and five members of a party who are also ministers to give up their Knesset seats in favor of other party members below them on their party's list. The number of MKs permitted to exercise this privilege depends on the total number of mandates held by that particular party.
