Government ministers have authorized the establishment of an office for the Alternate Prime Minister, which will likely be opened next Sunday.
At the previous ministerial meeting, the item relating to the establishment of an office was removed from the agenda at the last minute.
Alternate Prime Minister Benny Gantz (Blue & White) is currently serving as Defense Minister.
