More than 2,000 anti-Semitic incidents were recorded by German police last year, in a report that is due to be published next week.
The German Welt am Sonntag newspaper noted that German experts on racism blame the uptick in anti-Semitic attacks and racist attacks in general on a perception that expressing such beliefs has become socially acceptable.
