In an interview on Galei Zahal, coalition chairman MK Miki Zohar (Likud) commented on the political storm that has erupted surrounding comments made by Transportation Minister Miri Regev, directed against Alternate Prime Minister Benny Gantz.
"Forming a unity government was the wisest decision we could make at this time," Zohar said. "We're doing our best to keep the coalition together for the time period agreed upon, and hopefully even longer."
