Head Rabbi of Tzfat Shmuel Eliyahu went back on his call to "stay away" from cheese products made outside of Israel.
Rabbi Eliyahu said that kosher certificates from abroad were perfectly fine and that he only meant that Israeli factories were more trustworthy when it came to ensuring compliance with halakhik stipulations.
