Former Transport MInister and present Yamina member of Knesset Betzalel Smotrich wants a law that will prevent investigation of the prime minister over minor offenses. Smotrich emphasized that this law would not be retroactive in Netanyahu's case but that he wants to prevent such investigations and trials of future prime ministers where minor legal issues are involved.
