Brazil registered 807 deaths from coronavirus over the last 24 hours, the country’s health ministry said on Tuesday, marking the first time its death rate over a 24-hour period was higher than in the United States.
Brazil has the second worst outbreak in the world, with 374,898 cases and 23,473 deaths.
