The AFP reported that the PA is putting an end to its two-month coronavirus lockdown restrictions.

According to the report, PA prime minister Mohammed Shtayyeh made the announcement after a steady decline in new cases. Shops and businesses are to return to business Tuesday. Mosques, churches and public parks will also reopen, though with social distancing measures.

"The easing in the measures and gradual return to normal life is being taken with caution," Shtayyeh said, warning that an increase in cases could lead to a return of restrictions.

There have been more than 400 reported CV-19 cases in the Hamas and PA-controlled territories,
with three deaths.

The easing of restrictions in Gaza began several weeks ago, while the lockdown in PA-controlled parts of Judea and Samaria had been due to remain in place until June 5.
