Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said at the entrance to the District Court at the start of his trial, "They tried to thwart the will of the people and overthrow me.
"Police and prosecutors have joined the Left to trump up cases against me. The goal is to overthrow a strong Rightist government," the Prime Minister said.
