The Welfare Ministry said that 3-400,000 people would be left out of the workforce after all the government's steps, the ministry's representative said in a report to the Provisional Finance Committee.
The Deputy Accountant General noted that so far NIS 32.6 billion has been implemented from the coronavirus crisis aid program. The sum constitutes 38% of the NIS 86.8 billion program. The Tax Authority noted that some 710,000 grants were paid to 341,000 self-employed in the various beats, amounting to NIS 2.76 billion.
On the other hand, the Authority noted that in March - April, NIS 10 billion was lost as a result of the crisis. In addition, the "Third Sector" of NGOs did not receive one shekel in aid programs.
