MK Dr. Shlomo Karhi (Likud) has responded to comments made by the Justice Minister, Avi Nissenkorn, in which he expressed his "full confidence" in the Attorney-General and condemned "unrestrained attacks" on him as "crossing a red line."
"The one who crossed a red line is the Attorney-General himself," Karhi said. "He is the one who was appointed by you to deal with this matter, but now all he's doing is hiding behind an order banning publication of the facts, which you have now promised to honor.
"We will be reiterating this again and again, until Mandelblit agrees to support freedom of information even when the information concerns him personally, and either rescinds the ban on publication or goes home."
