Columnist and talk show host Ben Shapiro said that Joe Biden's expected turn to radical promises in his presidential campaign would provide President Trump a golden opportunity to get re-elected.
Shapiro stated in an article on Fox News that Biden has thus far succeeded by positioning himself as the "anti-Bernie return to normalcy candidate" but that a transformation to promises of "forgiving student loans, a Green New Deal, expansion of government health care, a government jobs plan, ban on stock buybacks and compulsion toward profit sharing for corporations" would propell Trump to a major election victory.
