Dean of the Faculty of Law at ONO Academic College, Professor Yuval Albashen, has called on Prime Minister Netanyahu to attend his trial in person. The trial is set to commence next Sunday, May 24.
"I believe that Netanyahu truly feels that he has been wronged, and that the law enforcement agencies of the country have not treated him fairly - but this still does not justify his attitude," Alabashen wrote in a column published in Globes. "A man who loves his people and his country must bow his head before its judges and behave just like any other person under indictedment."
