Israel Police have detained a resident of Jerusalem for questioning, on the suspicion that he threatened a woman with a gun, demanding that she turn off the music that she was playing on the porch of her home.
The man's home was searched and a plastic gun was found, which is thought to be the "weapon" he used to threaten the woman with.
The man was brought to a hearing this morning at which police requested an extension of his remand. Instead, the judge freed him subject to certain restrictions, which police protested, asking for a delay pending their submission of an appeal.
