Defense Minister Benny Gantz has referred to his pledge prior to the elections not to sit with Netanyahu in the government as long as the Prime Minister was accused of criminal activity as "appropriate for then, but not for now."
Speaking with Ilana Dayan, Gantz expressed his opinion that the country is in the midst of a national emergency brought on by the coronavirus and therefore the formation of a unity government was essential at this time.
