MK Ayelet Shaked said that Labor chairman and incoming Finance Minister Amir Peretz's optimism was reason for concern for every Israeli who earns a fair living.
Shaked lamented Netanyahu's decision to entrust Israel's economy to the former head of the Workers' Union, who, in her words, is interested in promoting a "socialist, Soviet-styled economy."
She also said Peretz was "a clear and immediate danger to business owners, and members of the private sector who are not members of large unions."
