A day after reports surfaced that Iranian authorities had intentionally set on fire Mordechai and Esther's tomb in the city of Hamadan, Iran's state-run news agency "IRNA" released footage from the desecrated site.
The images posted show clear indications of fire damage. Media loyal to the regime photographed a delegation of heads of the Jewish community in Iran who arrived on the scene following the incident.
State-affiliated media alleged that an accidental fire had caused the damage.
