Defense Minister's first calls - to families of captives held by Hamas

Replacement Prime Minister and Defense Minister Benny Gantz spoke this morning with the families of IDF soldiers whose bodies are being held by Hamas, Hadar Goldin and Oron Shaul, and with the families of Israeli civilians held by Hamas, Averra Mengistu and Hisham a-Sayyid.

These are the first outside conversations with Gantz as he takes office.
