A senior Palestinian Authority official told Kan that "Prime Minister Netanyahu's announcement over the Knesset stage that he is going to annexation - frees us from the shackles we had on us." The senior official added that if Netanyahu wants annexation - "to annex the entire territory and give citizenship to all Palestinians."
The senior official said Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas has so far avoided making tough decisions to take things to an end. In the next two days, the authority's leadership is expected to convene and make decisions on the matter.
