The Movement for Governance and Democracy has congratulated the government on its inauguration today.
The organization's legal advicser, Simcha Rotman, stated, "For the last 17 months, we watched a farce play itself out - such a farce as was never seen before in any Western democracy. This farce could have been avoided, as well as the protracted paralysis of the political system, if only the various authorities in the country and especially in the judicial system, had maintained a balance of powers and refrained from meddling in areas not under their purview."
