Outgoing Defense Minister Naftali Bennett has just left his office in the Kirya Headquarters in Tel Aviv; tomorrow, Benny Gantz will arrive to replace him.
"I've finished; I gave everything I could as Defense Minister, in order to protect the citizens of Israel," Bennett wrote on Twitter. "Every minute I spent in this role was the greatest privilege, and I am certain that my father of blessed memory, who, together with my mother, came to live in the Land of Israel out of pure Zionist belief, is happy. I promise that in every place I find myself in the future, I will continue to fight for the Jewish People. Yours, Naftali Bennett."
