Head of the Bar Association, attorney Avi Himi, has offered his congratulations to MK Avi Nissenkorn (Blue & White) on his appointment as Justice Minister.
"I wish all the best to MK Avi Nissenkorn in his new position as Justice Minister," Himi said. "I am confident that his professional cooperation with us will be productive and that the close ties between the Bar Association and the Justice Ministry will be maintained. Together we will lead important processes for the benefit of Israeli citizens and for the country's lawyers and justices, in order to protect democracy and the rule of law, and to reinforce the status of the courts and those who work in the legal system."
Himi added that, "I wish also to use this opportunity to thank Minister Amir Ohana for his work at the Justice Ministry, and for the efforts he made to work with us for everyone's benefit."
