Israel Police has offered congratulations to the new government on its inauguration, and to MK Amir Ohana (Likud) on his appointment as Internal Security Minister.
"On behalf of Israel Police, we wish Minister Ohana the greatest of success in his new role," the statement reads. "We also wish continued success to outgoing Minister Gilad Erdan in his new role as Israel's Ambassador to the United States and the United Nations, and thank him in the name of all police officers for his years of service and cooperation with the police force for the benefit of Israeli citizens."
