Outgoing Transport Minister MK Betzalel Smotrich addressed a letter to Transport Ministry staff: "It's time to say farewell. With G-d's help temporary. This letter is difficult for me, and I cannot and do not want to hide it. I fell in love with the office. I fell in love with you. You have no idea how much. I owe each and every one of you great gratitude. You've given me an amazing experience this past year.
"You welcomed me warmly, taught me the secrets of the office, worked shoulder to shoulder together, and thank G-d we did great things. You taught me to serve the people of Israel and the State of Israel in my first executive role, and I couldn't ask for a better school. I leave with a great sense of satisfaction for the things we managed to do together, and with a good appetite for more," Smotrich wrote.
