A 70-year-old man was found unconscious in a public park in Yokneam Illit. MDA paramedics evacuated him to Rambam Hospital with severe heatstroke under sedation and assisted breathing.
MDA senior medic Gabriel Cohen said: "When we reached the public park, we saw a man lying on the interlocking stones. He was unconscious, very hot to the touch with signs of severe heat stroke. We immediately put him in the cooled ambulance and evacuated him to the hospital while providing life-saving medical treatment that included continued cooling, sedation, and respiration while he was in critical and unstable condition."
