In an interview this morning aired on Galei Zahal, MK Merav Michaeli (Labor) attacked the incoming government even though her party will actually be joining it. "Yesterday, we saw a government horror show, a complete disgrace to society and to the Knesset," she said, adding, "To my great distress, two of my fellow party members are part of this farce. I'm not at all sure that the government will end up being sworn in on Sunday."
Michaeli directed criticism specifically at Labor MKs Amir Peretz and Itzik Shmuli, who are expected to receive portfolios in the unity government. "We committed to changing Netanyahu's policies, but as the 35th and 36th ministers in his government, this will of course prove impossible."
