Rachel Haber, the wife of founder Yeshayahu Haber of the kidney donor organization "Gift of Life" has stated that "We cannot really walk in his shoes but we can try." Rachel assumed her husband's role as leader of the organization after he recently passed away at the age of 55 from the coronavirus. More than 800 kidneys have been voluntarily donated since the organization was established in 2009.
