The Jerusalem District Court sentenced three years prison to former Foreign Ministry Economy Department Director Avshalom Ashur.
He was on duty for a decade and convicted on seven counts of theft, receiving fraudulently, taking bribes, and fraud under aggravated circumstances. He was also sentenced to pay a fine of NIS 70,000, Kan News reported.
