Four suspects were arrested this morning for questioning and two others detained on suspicion of involvement in bribery, receiving fraudulently, fraud, and breach of trust. Among the detainees is a public servant in a government office.
It is suspected that the senior official allegedly acted within the authority vested in his role to receive favors to promote others' benefit in violation of the law. When the suspects were arrested, searches were conducted in their homes and offices. During the search hundreds of thousands of shekels were seized.
