The announcement of the explosion in contacts between Likud and Yamina was after a difficult telephone conversation between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister and Yamina Chairman Naftali Bennett, Kan reported.
In the conversation, Bennett told Netanyahu, "You don't really want us. You haven't offered anything new for a month and a half." Netanyahu said in response that his proposal is generous relative to the party's size and will not change.
