Defense Minister Naftali Bennett (Yamina) is currently meeting with party members.
"Netanyahu has decided to dismantle the right-wing bloc," he stated. "I think that he will come to regret it."
Prior to the last three rounds of elections, most of the right-leaning parties (Likud, Yamina, UTJ, and Shas) committed to entering a government together and not engaging in separate negotiations with any of the other parties. However, Yamina has reportedly demanded three ministries in return for entering the unity government expected to be sworn in this week, and Likud officials have responded that the demand is unjustified given that Yamina only has 6 MKs.
