The Nazareth Labor Court has decided that the appointment of Dr. Avraham Barkai, convicted of possession and publication of pornographic material involving minors, will be delayed.
Currently Barkai will not take up the position of student health services physician in the Northern District. Dr. Barkai, 54, was convicted in 2012 of holding and publishing some 190,000 pedophile images and videos.
The Haifa District Court sentenced him to six months' imprisonment converted to public service work, as well as suspending his medical license for two years.
