This morning, 630 kindergartens opened in the city of Jerusalem. Preschools were divided into two groups, with each group containing up to 17 children in rotation. Starting Wednesday, the City of Jerusalem will run the nursery schools and the children will have a full school day all over the city.

In addition, the City of Jerusalem announced last Friday that kindergarten children will be studying on Tuesday, Lag Ba'Omer vacation, in the kindergartens teachers will be paid in full for that day.

Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Leon said "We are slowly but surely bringing the education system back to full operation. Activating the education system is the first part of bringing back the city's economy. Kindergartens and schools have been opened according to Health Ministry guidelines."
