New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said yesterday that as many as two-thirds of those recently admitted to hospital suffering from coronavirus symptoms had spent most of their time at home in the period before falling ill.
The report in NBC added that 22% of hospital admissions were from nursing homes and assisted-living facilities, and just 2% were homeless people.
