The Tunnels Road linking Jerusalem to the Judean Hills has been closed in both directions, after one of the fans ventilating the interior of one of the tunnels fell from its position. Expert teams are at the site in order to repair the damage and restore the fan to its perch.
Police are also on the scene to direct traffic, and drivers are recommended to use alternate routes.
