Brazil reports highest daily rise in new Covid-19 cases

Brazil has reported its highest daily rise in the number of infections in the past day - 10,503 new cases, for a total of 125,218 so far.

615 people died of Covid-19 during the past day, bringing the death toll from the virus up to 8,536 so far.
