The Education Ministry and Employment Service are embarking on a joint venture to recruit teachers, Education Minister Rabbi Rafi Peretz announced.
"About 40,000 college graduates who were enrolled in the employment service were found to be eligible for teaching."
During the training, applicants will receive unemployment benefits and a study grant of NIS 14,000.
