On Tuesday morning, Rabbi Mordechai Rachminov, formerly the rabbi of the New York Bukharian community, passed away at Hasharon Hospital after being infected with coronavirus.
Rahminov (76) had been on a ventilator over the past month and suffered from several serious underlying conditions.
