US: Death toll from COVID-19 rises by 1,015

The death toll in the United States from COVID-19 rose by 1,015 in the past 24 hours, according to the Johns Hopkins University tally.

The number is the lowest one-day figure in a month. So far there have been 68,689 deaths in the US, according to Johns Hopkins.
