Sources in the Jerusalem municipality said they had learned the lessons from the State Comptroller's report criticizing economic conduct surrounding a haredi event that took place during in 2016 over the Chanukah holiday.
The Jerusalem Municipality said it "has thoroughly studied the State Comptroller's report and worked to implement the required recommendations. It should be noted that the report relates to an incident that took place in 2016. Since the incident and especially since the current mayor took office, two years after the incident mentioned in the report, the municipality has learned the necessary lessons and carried out the necessary actions to prevent similar cases down the line."
