The Knesset's Labor, Welfare and Health Committee today unanimously approved for second and third votes the government's bill which states that possessing and using cannabis for personal consumption will not be considered a criminal offense if it is enforced three times.
The bill will not apply to minors, soldiers and prisoners, as well as to those who committed another crime, and is proposed as a temporary order for three years, in order to examine its implementation and its implications.
