The number of people killed by Syrian government forces in eastern Ghouta over the past week has topped 500, including 121 children, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.
Twenty-nine of those were killed on Saturday, including 17 in the area's main town of Douma.
Eastern Ghouta is currently held by rebels.
