IDF identifies launch of Gaza rocket in the direction of Israel

Following the sounding of a missile alert in Sderot and the area immediately next to Gaza, the Israel Defense Forces confirmed that a rocket has been launched at Israel from Gaza.

There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
