(IsraelNN.com) The Jewish Majority organization has petitioned the Supreme Court against a recent decision by Minister of the Interior Avraham Poraz, opposing the granting of citizenship to non-Jewish IDF soldiers following the completion of their first year of military service.
Petitioners told the High Court the minister failed to consider the demographic consequences of his new policy that may lead to a significant reduction in the percentage of Jewish citizens in Israel.
