During a working meeting following United States Vice President Mike Pence's speech to the Knesset,"To return the bodies of soldiers from Gaza", Knesset Speaker MK Yuli Edelstein asked Pence to do everything in his power to return the bodies of soldiers Hadar Goldin and Oron Shaul from Hamas captivity, noting that Hamas kidnapped Goldin after the cease-fire agreement.
Edelstein also asked the vice president to do everything possible to promote investments in employment areas where Jews and Arabs work together. Calling cooperation in those areas essential, the speaker said, "The symbiosis that exists in a number of industrial zones throughout the country is the basis for a shared life that will lead to the desired peace over time."
