Former Jewish Home Knesset member Yoni Chetboun announced on Monday that he would run for mayor of Netanya in the municipal elections that will be held in about nine months.
In the last Knesset elections, Chetboun ran on the Yahad party list, but the party, headed by Eli Yishai, did not exceed the threshold.
