The workers' committee of the Airport Authority announced, Thursday that takeoffs from Ben-Gurion International Airport will be suspended from the beginning of the Sabbath on Friday evening until its end on Saturday night in light of the Finance Ministry's intention of collecting royalties from the authority.
The workers stressed that the Treasury move was "something that could lead to financial distress and seriously damage its [the authority's -ed.] economic stability."
