An attack on a Baghdad mall has left at least 18 people dead and another 50 wounded.
The incident began with a car bomb and a suicide attack on the mall's entrance, after which armed assailants entered and took hostages. Iraqi forces besieged the building and placed troops on the roof. The two sides exchanged fire, which killed two terrorists and at least four police officers.
Authorities have since shut down a number of sensitive sites and roads out of fear of further attacks.
