Hackers claiming to belong to a Turkish group temporarily broke into Russian Communication Minister Nikolai Nikiforov's Instagram account. The hackers put up a series of pictures including Turkish flags, an image of Turkey founder Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, and a fighter jet.
Instagram restored the account to its previous settings, though Nikiforov claims that the company did nothing about the hack for over nine hours.
Relations between Turkey and Russia have been strained since November, when Turkey shot down a Russia military jet near the border with Syria. Russian President Vladimir Putin called the incident "a stab in the back."
